Pedagogy first, technology second
'An interest in pedagogy should come first, technology second' (Ko & Rossen, 2001, p.17)
These authors assert that a very basic familiarity with computers and the Internet will more than suffice. Teachers need to be able to:1. Set up folders and directories on a hard drive
2. use word processing software properly
3. handle email communications, including attachments
4. use a browser to access the World Wide Web
